Anton dies 16 Sept 1974 in Butte, California according to California death index 1940-1997. According to the Social Security Death Index, his last residence was 95969 Paradise, Butte, California. I also found an emigration record for 3 Sept 1913 on Emmigrater over Kristiana 1871-1930 for Anton Petters. Haugen. Birthdate given is 9 Sep 1884 and destination Michigan. It seems that this may have been a visit back to Norway and this is the return has his domicile is listed as Amerika Hope someone can use the information to further along the quest. Yes, very important questions. But the most important is patronym. Having his names and year of birth it is possible to take nation wide search at the 1900 Census of Norway. First: It is not Bolstad or Bolstad connected to these women. They were born at Heringstadeie, a tentant farm/subfarm of Heringstad. Rønnov's birth was 3rd August 1821. (Bjølstad is 3 miles north). Their father was Ole Knudsen and mother Marit Thorsdatter. It is in Hedalen (earlier of Vaage). I was born there. There is no family history book covering this. The Heidal (Hedalen) book is to come next year.
