    3. Here is a "good possibility" of your Hans ENGEBRETSEN and Kari OLSDATTER in the 1875-telling: http://snipurl.com/rp9h They are living at Ulen (plads) in Sør-Fron, Oppland, with daughter Anna, born 1872 in Søndre Fron. It indicates that Kari was born in Ringebo, which could be in Oppland OR in Orkdal, Sør-Trøndelag. In the 1865-telling for Søndre Fron: http://snipurl.com/rp9x Hans ENGEBRETSEN (age 17) is living on the Midthammeren farm in Søndre Froens, with his parents Engrebret HANSEN and Anne ERLANDSDATTER, and his siblings Karn (13) and Morten (10). In the 1865-telling for Ørkedal, Sør-Trøndelag: http://snipurl.com/rpa4 There is one possibility - Kari OLSDATTER (age 19). She is working as a "Tjenestepige" (girl servant) on the Gjølmeslien farm in Ørkedal. HOWEVER, in the 1865-telling for Ringebo, Oppland: http://snipurl.com/rpah There is "another" possibility - Kari OLSDATTER (age 19), working on the Venaasen sønd øvre farm in Ringebo. It states she was born in Ørkedals. ----- As you will notice, Han's father's first name would not also be "Hans" if the patronymic is ENGEBRETSEN. So, I am not sure who your "Hans Engebretsen Piberstuen under Rusthage" might be. "Normally, Hans' father's name would be Engebret ?sen. Accordingly, in the 1801-telling for Froen: http://snipurl.com/rpc9 There are 34 people living on the Rusthage farm in Sødorp, Froen. I suggest you take a look and see if any of these people might connect to the people you are looking for. Accordingly, in the 1865-telling for Søndre Fron: http://snipurl.com/rpcn The farm name "appears" to be changed to Rolstadhagen. Living there are Ole ENGEBRETSEN (age 46) and his family. He may OR MAY NOT be related to Hans. As far as I know, Ole and Olava had only two children, Henry and his brother John. Henry and Dorothea had four children, three of whom (Edna, Arthur and one unnamed) died before reaching maturity. Only Orlando, their son who was disabled due to a brain problem, lived to adulthood, but he had no children. Henry's brother John married Medora Bucknell, and they had 12 children. On his death certificate his parents are listed as Peter Peterson and Gertie Anderson. He came to America in the early 1880s. He is listed with his parents in the 1865 census on the Loken farm but he is not listed with them in 1875 on the Mylskværn farm but is listed as a helper on the Raastad (Nystuen) farm. I have found a record of an Anders Pedersen from the Mylskværnen farm immigrating to America from Jevnaker in 1882. This seems like the correct Anders Pedersen but I am not sure.
