Surnames: Nolan,Noland,Nolen,Nolin Nowland Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/wd3.2ACIB/988.2 Message Board Post: William, I am looking for a CSA vet named James Tiry Nolan who dissappeared in the Dallas area about 1865. His Son/Brother/Cousin was my GGF Robert A. Nolan age 21 in 1865 ended up going to Tennessee and on to Florida, but one of my cousins said that he looked for the James Nolan in Dallas in the 1920's. Will look out for any kids who fit your list. Have had some problem myself with the Nolan spellings. Each clerk in the Army and Town Clerks in Tennessee did their best to miss spell it. These two were in Companies D, K, & I, 6th Texas Cavalry Regiment CSA which began in Dallas/McKenney(Cilin County) and Robert at one point said he was from Athens (Henderson County). I have identified them under all the spellings below. William K. Nolan, Kerrville
