Surnames: Nolan, Nowland, Nolen Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/wd3.2ACIB/1048 Message Board Post: Still looking for anyone who can connect any of the names with the following variation; Thomas Ellison Nolan, Ellison Thomas Nolan, Nolan Ellison Thomas, etc., He would have been born 1900 or so, and was in the military and originally lived in the UK(possibly Ireland) when he met my grandmother in the military of WWII - My grandmother was a Clerk, stationed in Toronto where she would have met him, He was a rather high ranking military man who had a family of his own when they conceived my mother... The details are sketchy but they would have been in the Toronto area of 1945-1947, Looking for Grandfather Nolan - I want my mother to be in peace knowing who her real father is.... Please help... Was in the Army (CDN or US) posted in Toronto in 1946 where my mother was conceived and born on Sept., 24, 1947 My Grandmother also in the Army(CDN) at that time where she met him. Mr. Nolan had a famiy of his own at that time with other children, possibly 2-3 children. Mr.Nolan's mother (my great grandmother) went to see my mother in the hospital while she was ill as a baby for the first year until she was pushed away by family. 25 yrs of searching and mystery for the entire family. Any knowledge of Thomas E. Nolan, and are you out there, any family, cousins, anyone....???? May have been in the US army and posted at that time. Was a ranking official, my granmother's name is Bertha Ada Cook, she was a clerk and became pregnant with my mother, we are searching for my grandfather...
