Surnames: Nolan/Prevatt Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/wd3.2ACIB/1065 Message Board Post: I am looking for Nolans or Prevatts who are family from Harold Sr and William Nolan of the Eagle Lake area. Their father was Robert Artur Nolan who was a Texas Ranger and Civil War veteran. Robert also built homes and farmed oranges. He died sometime after 1903 and may be buried in Micanopy. His wife was Lucy Frances Newman Nolan who may have married a Noble in Tampa. Robert had a brother who died in Cunningham Ga and other children. Eunice who may have died in Giles County TN, Collie(Callie) R, and Edmond(Edward) Arnold Nolan 1847-1948 of Miami who is my grand father. Harold and William also have a half brother and sister. They are Oceola and Arzonia Nolan born in Mississippi. There mother was named Sharon and could have been Indian. A cousin who lives near Jacksonville lived in Ocala during WWII and remembers Harold and William visiting. Would love to compare notes. I am closing in on two events. They are the parents of Robert A and his death.
