They lived in the Bridgeport area of Chicago (White Sox Park area; large Irish population). MICHAEL is shown in the 1860 City Directory as newly arrived, single and a laborer. And, in his obit, San Francisco papers were asked to "copy." 7/19/1890 NOLAN, At his residence, 3348 Auburn Ave., MICHAEL, husband of Julia Nolan (nee Moran), age 53 years (ha!). Native of County Carlow, Ireland and member of Nativity Court 11. I.O.O.F., Funeral Sunday, July 20 at 10am, by carriages to Calvary. San Francisco (CA) papers please copy. Michael had a sister named KATE WIGMORE (husband WILLIAM WIGMORE) that was the first one buried in the Calvary plot in 1866.
