I am not sure whether there is a connection or not. The Walter Nolan I am seeking had a father called James Nolan and it is feasible that this James Nolan could have been a brother of your Walter! James's occupation was listed as Farmer on the wedding certificate of his son (my) Walter Nolan, dated 10 January 1887, to Mary Teresa Murphy (my relative). The other Nolans listed on the wedding cert were Martin and Bridget Ann Nolan. I have also found information about Bridget Ann Nolan marrying a Richard Murphy from Busherstown, County Wexford in 1890. Do you know whether your Walter's brother James was a farmer in Busherstown, County Wexford? Ultimately my search is to see whether any descendants of Walter and Mary Nolan are living, and if they are still based in Mexico. I have not seen much on the message boards about the Irish in Mexico though. If you have any further clues re the Nolan clan, I would be most grateful. Best wishes, Alison
