There are so many "Nolan" records it will keep you reeling for months!!! Their web address is: http://www.familysearch.org They are especially helpful in going backwards from the early 1800's to ????. I have used them many times for my German relatives. My husband is the Irishman in the family. We finally got a copy of his grandfather's obituary and found out he was from County Wexford. Now I am stuck again because the records I have come up with for Patrick J. Nolan born in April 1864 in County Wexford all have different parents names. We don't have a clue who his grandfather's parents were, but we are still looking and searching. His grandmother is from Dublin. Her name is Mary Conely and there are thousands of Mary Conley (Connley, Connelly, Connolly) and we don't know who her parents were either.
