My husband's family is the Burkhart's from Harlan Co. They lived at the foot of Pine Mountian and on top of there as well where Inspiration Mountian is now. I was in Harlan over the weekend and went up to the Burkhart Cemetary. There is a Chad Nolan and a Ollie Boggs Nolan that are burried there. I do know that some where along the family line that they are related to my grandmother Millie Nolan Roark from Leslie Co. Please e-mail me directly at fordroad@yahoo.com. I do have a family member whom has the Burkhart linage completed from where they came from Germany and there is a Burkhart Cemetary burried underneath the actual Frankenstine Castle. More reasearch is still in process. I'm very intreasted in knowing anything about the Nolan family. Many of my family still lives in Leslie Co. I do have reasearch on the Brock linage which leads up to Chief Redbird that lived on Redbrid which connects at the county lines of Harlan and Cl! ay Counties. My grandmother Millie's mother was Fronie Brock Nolan whom married John D. Nolan. Fronie's parents were George Washington Brock and Elizabeth? I'm still unsure what her last name is but my grandmother says Napier. I haven't found any record of her except for her death records and where they are burried. Anything beyond John D. Nolan I don't have. Please let me know either way and thanks a whole lot. Paulette Burkhart- Wayne, MI
