    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: NOLAN, CANTWELL Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/wd3.2ACIB/748.1.3 Message Board Post: I have a Thomas J. NOLAN who married a Margaret CANTWELL, eldest daughter of Richard CANTWELL, Esqr., February 8 1869 in Castlecomer, County Kilkenny. Thomas and Margaret lived in Ballyhook House, Stratford-on-Slaney, County Wicklow, Ireland. They had 3 children. A son, Edmond, was born January 25 1870. Edmond emigrated to the US to Chicago and I lost track of him. He married in the US and had 2 children, Eugene and Mary. Thomas and Margaret's daughter, Linda M. died in 1887 in Ballinrush, RC Parish of Myshall, County Carlow, Ireland. She is buried there. She was 13. Eugene P. emigrated to the US and lived in Chicago and I have lost track of him also. I am still working on him however. Eugene married Gladys Marian Samms/Symms? in 1919, possibly in Chicago, as they are in the 1920 Chicago census. Margaret died March 8 1879 and is buried in Baltinglass. I think this is in County Wicklow. After Margaret died, Thomas and his sons emigrated to the US and settled in Chicago. I am! still working on this. Some or all of them may have emigrated together. Thomas died in 1916 in Chicago. As I said, I have lost track of his 2 sons. It's possible they are related to your Cantwells through their mother.
