My grandmother was Josephine Nolan born September 10, 1917 in San Patricio, Texas. According to her Social Security Application her parents were Christopher Nolan and Rose Ann McMurray. At the time that the application was filled out she was 20 years old and lived on Agnes Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. She married my grandfather on August 11, 1945 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Any information on any of the above names would be helpful. Thank you.

    3. How about his death? Do you know where/when he died? I have the Holy Name cemetary records from Jersey City, and there are several Patrick NOLANs who were born "about 1859" on the list.     3. Hello, I am new to this list and are in need of some help! I am interested in finding out anything on PATRICK JOSEPH NOLAN - born around 1859 in Dublin Patrick married my SARAH PRISCILLA HOSKING in Jersey Channel Island - 22 / 11 / 1894 On the certificate it states his father is called JOHN NOLAN - occ Wine Merchant. Patrick was a Private in the Yorkshire / 2nd Batt / 12th Regt, who I know was in Jersey on the 1881 census, and there until at least there marriage. I have searched the 1901 census with no luck! I would be truly grateful for any help or suggestions as to my search !! Wanted to mention that there is a new book out by by Michael Fitzpatrick of Gorey which mentions Gorey and Enniscorthy Sparrows that emigrated to US following 1798 rebellion - it is based on research I did and might be interesting to you if you run across a copy. There is information on them in Ireland and Virginia, Louisianna and Ohio where 3 of the brothers settled. Anyway, good luck on your research and much happiness to you in the new year.
