There are so many "Nolan" records it will keep you reeling for months!!! Their web address is: http://www.familysearch.org They are especially helpful in going backwards from the early 1800's to ????. I have used them many times for my German relatives. My husband is the Irishman in the family. We finally got a copy of his grandfather's obituary and found out he was from County Wexford. Now I am stuck again because the records I have come up with for Patrick J. Nolan born in April 1864 in County Wexford all have different parents names. We don't have a clue who his grandfather's parents were, but we are still looking and searching. His grandmother is from Dublin. Her name is Mary Conely and there are thousands of Mary Conley (Connley, Connelly, Connolly) and we don't know who her parents were either. Luck of the Irish to You and May the Road Rise Up to Meet You and the Wind Be Always at Your Back!!

I can find all except Mary Nolan on the original manifests - I can find a Mary Nolan age 20 on the ship "city of paris" from Liverpool 27 July 1892 but have no prove it is her. The dates do tally but unlike the others I have no name of who paid for the ticket or next of kin in ireland. The others however are: John - arrived 1911 aged 20 on the caronia from Queenstown Nellie - arr. 1912 age 25 on the campania Joseph - arr with nellie Maggie - arr 1909 on the caronia age 18 Lizzie - arr 1913 on the carmania aged 17 Bridie - arr 1906 age 21 on the oceanic Maurice - arr age 21 on the caronia 1921 with wife mary I know Joe lived out in Fairlawns, New Jersey and had 4 daughters which we are aware of. He did return to Ireland often late in his life and in fact died and is buried here in sleaty. Thank you so much for all your help. To the best of my knowledge they all settled in New york or thereabouts. I think John worked for "con edison" for many years. Thank you again for your great help. Anna!

I know Bridie had no children. I know Maurice left his son "little" Jim behind in Ireland and later were reunited. Do any of the others have children. I appear unusual in the sense that I am in Ireland looking for relatives in America where everyone else seems to be in America looking for relatives in Ireland!!!!!!!!!!! I do not have access to any American records so if anyone could help I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Anna Nolan
