Good morning. Gary Webb has a nice web site at http://www.usgennet.org/usa/nm/topic/cemeteries = Cemeteries of NM. I've known Gary for several years. I encourage anyone to send him your surveyed cemeteries and any related photos. It would help NM researchers if he could reproduce all of the cemetery surveys in the Archives. (As information, on the Policy Statement appearing on the web site, I am listed as a General Member to that site.) The NM Tombstones Project is doing well. We are working on about 600 photos at this time. Submitters should know that no special photographic imaging skill is required to submit a photo. We handle the editing and re-sizing. Those who know how to editing are encouraged to do so before submitting, but it is not necessary. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~nmtombstones/ NM Tombstones is a project by Marcena Thompson, a NMGenWeb CC and a very active NM volunteer genealogist. The NM FGS Project: We are slightly ahead of other states our size in the number of FGSs submitted. I hope we will break thru the 100 mark this coming week. We have over 90 today. If you like to submit a NM FGS, there are two ways. Visit the site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~usfgs/newmexico/ to see the forms. If there is substantial interest by NM CC's, I'd be proud to convert NM FGS to a NMGenWeb Special Project. That will require authority from the SC to rootsweb (or another host) for web space. The existing web space is owned by the FGS Project. (I am the manager of the NM FGS Project.) Have a great day everyone, Charles Barnum
