To the State Coordinators of the Southwest South Central Region (states of: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Hawaii, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah) Please forward this message to your state list. ******* David Morgan, one of your County Coordinator Regional Representatives on the Advisory Board, has resigned his seat. The by-laws call for the AB to appoint someone to fill a vacant seat until the next scheduled annual election (Aug 31, 2006). The AB is therefore issuing a call for volunteers who are interested in serving on the AB. Volunteers will be accepted from March 9th through March 17th. To be eligible to fill this seat the volunteer must be a member of one of the states within the SWSC Region (see list above) and have served as Local (county) coordinator for a period of 12 continuous months prior to the election. In this case there will not be an election, rather the AB has asked the EC to hold a Preference Poll, but 12 months of continuous service is still a qualification.
