There is a virus being sent to several NM County Email lists. The heading looks like a normal county list but it is bogus. The messages contain a zip file that is a virus. My virus programs have caught all of them so far. Do not open any rootsweb.com county list email that contains a zip file. Please forward this email if you wish. Charles Barnum
It is not possible for any file attachments of any kind to get onto a Rootsweb list. All attachments are blocked before they even get to the point of delivery to participants. No one has any worry about getting a virus from a Rootsweb list.
