    2. Karen Mitchell
    3. HI everyone. Does anyone have the marriages from Nuestra Senora de los Dolores, Arroyo Hondo, New Mexico? I am looking for the marriage of Maria Leonor Trujillo on 1-8-1855. I need to know what your transcription gives as the husband's name. On the LDS site it is given as Sanches, but I think that may be a translator error. Can anyone help me? Thanks so much, Karen Mitchell

    3. Glory Bee, one of our list members, recently requested help dating an old photo. Since old photos offer a lot of clues in researching our family genealogy, it seemed like a good idea to post a page with links to information on the subject: http://nmgen.org/oldphotos.html A great resource for genealogy in the West is online at the Denver Public Library: http://www.denverlibrary.org/whg/ Happy research! 3. Hi, I have a picture of my grandmother, Rafaela Gurule, born in 1891, and she's with her parents. In the picture, she's probably about 11-12 so that makes the picture about 1902-3. Her mother looks very much like the woman on the right of your picture....same blouse, same puffy sleeves, same hair style. My great-grandfather is wearing a vest and jacket that look alot like the standing guy in the middle of the picture. That's my best guess, Angela At 11:01 AM 8/14/2005, Glory Bee wrote: >contact me at richhart@kingmanaz.net >or jrichhart23@netscape.net >jrichhart23@hotmail.com > >***preferably at the richhart@kingmanaz.net... reply and message >should not bounce.. > >Susan, Angela, Sam or anyone else... >if have photo knowledge >know how to judge by garments period of time >give me some thoughts on a photo.. > >I have no idea the type of photo it would be.. >glass type, a tin type or deguerre or ??? type > >my photo is a copy of a copy of the supposed original. >I suggested that they go to a walmart or walgreen machine and obtain >a copy.. >I have scanned it at highest possible quality, then put it in PDF >format so that I could send the highest >quality to you... > >Have any ideas... >thoughts >please > >Gloria Salazar Richhart > > > >-- >No virus found in this outgoing message. >Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. >Version: 7.0.338 / Virus Database: 267.10.8/71 - Release Date: 8/12/2005 > > >============================== >Census images 1901, 1891, 1881 and 1871, plus so much more. >Ancestry.com's United Kingdom & Ireland Collection. 3. Taos County checking in for the month. I am looking for the marriage of Juan Ignacio Trujillo and Maria Josefa Chacon about 1780. Would each of you please check your records for that? I would appreciate it so very much. Juan Ignacio may have been married to Luisa Urribali first, but I'm not at all sure of that. Juan and Josefa were living in Santa Cruz in Dec 1783 when they baptized a daughter. Prior to that there is a baptismal entry 5-10-1772 for a son of Ignacio Trujillo and Luisa Urribali. But no grandparents are named. We know that Josefa Chacon died prior to December 1798, as Juan then marries Josefa Quintana. So the key to positively define the line is the marriage record of Juan to Josefa Chacon. If anyone has any information on this line, please contact me. THANK YOU! Karen Mitchell km1109@aculink.net
