Konchalski, 80, of Las Cruces left his dwelling place on earth and entered eternal life to be with his heavenly Father Monday, February 28, 2011 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 8, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey to Bronislaw and Stella Solinski Konchalski. Mr. Konchalski served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired as a Tool and Die Maker. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Coogan Konchalski of the family home; three sons, Frank J. Konchalski and wife Nancy of Union, New Jersey, Robert Konchalski and wife Julieta of El Paso, Texas, Joseph Konchalski and wife Fredericka of Piscataway, New Jersey; two daughters, Karen Konchalski, and Julia Jones and husband Rick all of Las Cruces; a brother, Bro. James Konchalski, O.S.B. of Morristown, New Jersey. Other survivors include eight grandchildren, Christen Skillman and husband, Joe, Kevin, Michael, Brian and Melissa Konchalski, Kaleigh and Lauren Jones and Alexis Orduño. He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Henry Roskosz, Visitation for Mr. Konchalski will begin at 6 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 PM. Family and Friends will join together to celebrate the Funeral Mass at 10 AM Thursday, March 3, 2011 in St. Albert the Great Newman Center, 2615 S. Solano Drive with Reverend Tom Smith officiating. Cremation will follow and inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date. Serving as casket bearers will be Kevin, Frank, Joseph and Robert Konchalski, Joe Skillman and Rick Jones.
