She was born to Jesus Castro and Eduvijez in Zacatecas, Mexico in 1938. She is survived by her partner in life, Leandro Salgado, her children; Gilberto, Emilio, Efrain and Salomon Zubiate, Pedro Zantillan, Olga Camacho, Alejandra Galvan, Leticia Salgado and Elizabeth Zubiate. She also leaves behind many grandkids, grandsons, nieces, nephews, sisters and a brother; Bertha Viscarra, Luz Castro, Acension Castro and Jesus Castro. She is preceded in death by her husband, Salomon Zubiate, parents Jesus Castro and Eduvijez Sanchez, sister; Rafaela Castro and her son Salomon Zubiate. "Cono" was a creative home maker, child care provider to all her grandkids, she enjoyed gambling at casinos and traveling to Los Angeles. Visitation for "Cono" will be on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 1 - 4 PM at La Paz - Graham's Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary to be said at 7 PM, with funeral mass at 10 AM on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church with cremation to follow and inurnment at Oakdale Cemetery in Glendale, California.
