Peg was born in 1920, the only child of Florence and William Frisbie of Washington, DC. Peg had lived in Las Cruces from 1964 to 1969 and returned here in 1984, when her husband John retired. Peg was a member of the Desert Daubers Garden Club and University Methodist Church where she was part of the United Methodist Women and curated the church library. She was also involved with the Fairacres Volunteer Fire Department where she volunteered and maintained the plantings around the station for many years. Peg is survived by her sons; Bill (Leslie) Dickinson of Tucson, Arizona and Bob (Susie) Dickinson of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and her daughter Lynn Cashton of Las Cruces as well as 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at University Methodist Church, Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. The church is located at 2000 S. Locust, Las Cruces, NM 88001, 522-8220. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society . Arrangements are with La Paz - Graham's Funeral Home. 526-6891.
