He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Olga Hernandez and the families of his four grown children: daughter Eva Christina Hernandez, daughter Sofia and husband Cesar and grandchildren Anissa, Arianna, Addison and Mason, daughter Margarita and husband Victor and grandson Evan, son Luis and wife Gina and grandson Caleb. Also by his son Joe and wife Dolores, son Jim (deceased) and wife Frances, daughter Alice Mirabal and husband Steve, daughter Melissa Morris and husband Shane, son Roman Vicente and wife Valarie, and daughter Sophia Hernandez. And fourteen wonderful grandchildren. His sisters and brother are Elena Dutchover, Alicia Mora, Elvira Thomas, Eva Padilla (deceased), Anita Ogas, Ramon Vicente Hernandez and Angelina Guzman. Jose, a devoted and loving family man enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, traveling with his wife, tending to his garden and writing his poetry. He will be immensely missed and remembered forever in our hear! ts. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 7, 2011 at San Francisco de Assis Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
