She was born October 14, 1926 in Salem to Jacobo and Manuela Torres. Mrs. Medina was a homemaker, a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Survivors include two sons, David Medina and wife, Cindy of Las Cruces and John of Safford, Arizona; daughter, Rosemary Mayberry of El Paso, Texas; brother, George Torres of Salem, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David Medina, brother, Mike Torres and one grandson. Mrs. Medina will be reposing from 5 PM to 7 PM Monday, February 28, 2011 in the Peace Chapel of Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 E. Boutz Road. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Salem Cemetery with Pastor David White of the Hatch First Baptist Church officiating.
