Jerry was born to Yesenia Solis and Gerardo Zamarripa, Sr. November 9, 1992 in Las Cruces. Jerry was a Onate High School senior, he attended Sierra Middle School. He loved football, basketball, high school games and making everyone laugh and bringing them smiles, he took time to take his nephew out for ice cream and shared his love by teaching his little brothers how to play basketball. Jerry loved being with family. Jerry is survived by his mother; Yesenia Solis, his siblings; Elaine, Martin, Guillermo, Leilani, his father; Gerardo Zamarripa Sr., his siblings; Abigail, Yvette, Brianna and Joel. His uncles; Roberto Rincon Jr., David, Luis, Sergio and Alberto Zamarripa. His aunts; Hilda Coria, Jessica Zamarripa, his grandparents; Rosa E. Solis, Roberto Rincon Sr. and Ruth Zamarripa, nephew; Jerimiah Castillo and several cousins. Services for Jerry are at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Thursday, March 3, 2011 for visitation at 6 - 7 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 7 PM, with funeral mass to be held at the church on Friday, March 4, at 10:00 AM with Bishop Ramirez officating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, pallbearers will be Gerardo, David and Luis Zamarripa, Paul Trejo, Marcus Marquez, Patrick Sanchez.
