He was born July 29, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John A. and Lois Gammon Schadler. Mr. Schadler was a retired Chemistry and Physics Teacher, however, Biology was his passion. Those left to mourn his passing include his loving wife, Sharon Lynn Schadler of the family home; a son, Erik John Schadler serving in the United States Air Force stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado; two daughters, Megan Schadler of Las Cruces, Kaitlyn Schadler (Micah) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two stepsons, Quent Pirtle, Garth Pirtle (Karena) all of Las Cruces; a stepdaughter, Cindi Peterson also of Las Cruces; a brother, Paul Schadler (Mary) of Denver, Colorado; two sisters, Mary Anne Schadler of Santa Fe, Deborah McKelvey (Rick) of Georgetown, Texas. Other survivors include six grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Schadler. Visitation for Mr. Schadler will begin at 4 PM Monday, May 17, 2010 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road where the Funeral Service is scheduled for 5 PM with Pastor Chris McRae officiating. Cremation will follow and inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date.
