RAMOS, 76, of Anthony, on Monday, May 10, 2010. She was born on November 1, 1933 in La Union, to Manuel and Maria Muñoz Herrera. Mrs. Ramos was a homemaker and a communicant at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the VFW Post 4384 Ladies Auxiliary. Those left to mourn her passing include her loving husband of fifty-eight years, Raul M. Ramos of the family home; four sons, Raul Ramos Jr., Rafael Ramos and wife Yolanda all of Anthony, Ray Ramos and wife Colleen of Chaparral, Roy Ramos and wife Ana P. of El Paso, Texas; three daughters, Rachel Stohlman and husband Ken of Pinetop, Arizona, Ramona Lane and husband Jimmy of Albuquerque, Ruby Jimenez and husband Ronald of El Paso, Texas; a sister, Ramona Molina and husband Ben of Phoenix, Arizona. Other survivors include eighteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Alfredo and Manuel Herrera Jr. Visitation for Mrs. Ramos will begin at 6 PM Friday, May 14, 2010 in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 224 Lincoln Avenue where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will follow immediately thereafter with Reverend Andres Alava officiating. Cremation will follow and inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date. Serving as casket bearers will be René, Robert and Roy Ramos Jr., Orlando Lane, Tomas Cano and John Martin. Honorary casket bearers are Jesse Jimenez, Richard and Manuel Molina.
