DELGADO, 83, on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. She was born November 20, 1926 in Berino to Julian and Ignacia Vigil. Mrs. Delgado was a homemaker; a communicant at San Albino Catholic Church where she was a member of the Grupo de Oracion Cristo Rey and was very active with the Mesilla Community Center. Those left to mourn her passing include her son, Santos Delgado, Jr., and wife Eva of Las Cruces; two grandchildren, Steve Delgado and Ida Delgado; three great grandchildren, Marcus De Leon, Brianna Ramirez and Niomi Delgado as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Santos Delgado; a daughter, Ida Delgado; six siblings, Cornelio Vigil, Felipe Vigil, Chona Rodriguez, Librada Lopez, Telo Vigil and Johnny Parra. Visitation for Mrs. Delgado will begin at 6 PM Friday, May 7, 2010 in San Albino Catholic Church, 2290 Calle de Principal where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 PM. Family and Friends will join together to celebrate the Funeral Mass at 9 AM Saturday, May 8, 2010 in the same church with Reverend Richard Catanach officiating. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in San Albino Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. Serving as casket bearers will be Steve Delgado, Lorenzo Olivas, Richard and Jodie Vigil, Ruben Salcido and Daniel Stewart.
