He was a US Navy Veteran and graduate of University of Southern Mississippi. A resident of Las Cruces for 37 years, he was a member of University United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Janice, his son Will and daughter-in-law Irene, daughter Melissa, brother Anthony, and his neices Kandy and Dawn. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard and mother, Mary. Viewing for Richard will begin at 12:00pm on Friday, May 7, 2010 at La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home 555 W. Amador. The funeral service is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm, also on Friday, May 7, 2010. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
