Martinez, 82, passed away on May 16, 2010 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Nacy was born on May 28, 1927 in Cuchillo, New Mexico to Arturo and Remedios (Tafoya) Apodaca. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and the Ladies Council. Nacy was an Elementary Foster Grandparent and a member of the TorC Parkinson's Support Group. Nacy is survived by her daughters - Eva & husband, Sonny Valenzuela; Pat Bellestri Martinez and the late Mario Bellestri; Bernice & Anthony Chavez; Gilda Beresford; Diana & Frankie Luchini; by grandchildren - Victor, Stephen & Michelle Valenzuela; Max Bellestri, Briana Chavez; Cara Beresford, Senika Tyk and Yvonne Luchini; by her 8/great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank Apodaca & wife, Jeanette and sister at heart - Hermila Romero, many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elfego P. Martinez. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Don Hyatt, CSB officiating. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Vista Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the TorC Parkinson Support Group c/o P. O.
