QUINTANA, age 75 of Fairacres entered eternal life on Friday, October 8, 2010 at his home surround by his loving family. Manuel was born October 2, 1935 in San Javier, Chihuahua, Mexico to Santiago and Maria Quintana Quintana. Manuel was a farmhand and was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Those left to mourn his passing include his loving wife of forty-one years, Guadalupe Quintana of the family home; two sons Manuel Quintana, Jr. (Adriana) of Las Cruces, Hector Joel Quintana, of Denver, Colorado; two daughters, Ana Lisa Montoya (Henry) and Juanita Quintana Smith(Justin) all of Las Cruces. Other survivors include one brother Adan Quintana, of Hereford, Texas, and four sisters, Francisca Miranda (Heriberto) of Denver, Colorado, Eve Burciaga (Benjamin); Catalina Burciaga (Heriberto), and Emilia Munoz (Angel) all of Namiquipa, Mexico; six grandchildren Alisa Mercedes Montoya, Manuel Adrian Quintana, Paul Henry, Montoya, Carlos Santiago Quintana, Jesus Gabriel Quintana all of Las Cruces, and Lysette Quintana of Greeley, Colorado; numerous nieces, nephews, and god children. Manuel is preceded in death by his parents. Friends are invited to join with the family on Monday, October 11, 2010 for the Prayer Vigil to be held at 7 PM in Baca' Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road. The Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church, 1178 N. Mesquite Street, with the Reverend of the Augustinian Recollects officiating. The Rite of Committal and interment will follow to San Albino Cemetery were he will be laid to rest. Serving as casket bearers will be Adan Quintana, Manuel Quintana, Jr; Henry Montoya, Justin Smith, Adriana Quintana, and Alisa Meche Montoya.
