Angel ( Mino ), 79, went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2010. Born to Gonzalo and Venancia Angel. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Castula Angel, his sons; Gomisindo Jr., Frank, Edward (Lucy), Joe (Xochilt). His daughters, Nancy Salcido (Ernie), Eva Moomey (Leonard), Julia Angel, Lupe Baldonado, Sally Silva (Danny), Betty Angel (Juan), 31 grand children, 45 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Gomisindo was also survived by his 2 sisters Lupe Angel and Minnie Navarro. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, 2 brothers, 2 grandchildren and his daughter-in-law. Mino loved working and took great pride in everything he did. He loved being at home with family, friends, and working on his property. He is respected and loved by all who knew him. Honorary casket bearers: Edward Angel, Tony Angel and Little Eric Silva Casket bearers: Gino Angel, Martin Gonzales, Frank Jr. Angel, Max Apodaca, Joe Jr. Angel, Gonzalo Silva. Friends and family are invited to attend a rosary service on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church, with Father Ray. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Services have been entrusted to the care of La Paz - Graham's Funeral Home 555 West Amador, Las Cruces , NM 88005 .
