Sandoval, 86, a resident of Hanover, NM entered eternal rest on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Gila Regional Medical Center. She was born February 17, 1924 to Luis Abeyta and Mary Mascarenas in Mora County, NM. She enjoyed working the Grant County Elections for over 40 yrs. She also enjoyed watching her kids and grandchildren play sports. She loved to cook for her large family and attending all Grant County parades. She loved her Chihuahua "Princess" and most of all she loved the Lord. She is survived by two sons, Lawrence Anthony Sandoval and wife Maggie of Los Lunas; Ronnie Sandoval and wife Paula of Los Lunas; five daughters, Janie Cordova and husband Juan of Greenwood, Indiana; Vickie Meats and husband Jeff of Albuquerque; Cathy Amparano and husband Arturo of Phoenix, AZ; Sallie Todd and husband Anthony of Phoenix and Teresa Monson of Bayard; two brothers, Frank Abeyta of Denver, CO; David Abeyta of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Louise Miller of Denver, Co; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, John Sandoval ('71); two sisters, Rosie Miller and Josie Chavez. A memorial service will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 20th at 10am at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church with Pastor Greg Burchfield officiating.
