She was born September 19, 1914 in Hamlin, West Virginia to Thomas and Sophia Ullom and was a homemaker. May is survived by her daughter, Carol Hixon and husband Joel of Las Cruces; a daughter in law, Nelda Parr of Houston, TX; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph M. Parr in 2003 and a son, Jim Parr in 1995. A visitation will start at 6 pm on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM where the Funeral Service will follow at 7 pm. Burial will take place at 9 am on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Officiating will be Pastor Alan Granger of Las Cruces.
