"Tommy" Thompson, died at home in Albuquerque, NM on September 22, 2010. Tommy was born April 15, 1928, in Canyon, TX. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1952. Tommy retired as Vice-President of AT&T and Bell Telephone Laboratories at Holmdel, NJ and was founding president of The Rio Grande Technology Foundation, RIOTECH, and the Systems Engineer for the Apollo Program. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janet M. Thompson and his four children; six grandchildren; and brother, Clarence Thompson. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 23, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., Sandia Presbyterian Church, 12965 Paseo del Norte NE, Albuquerque, NM.
