Trevizo Murillo, 58, a resident of Bayard, was born in Santa Rita on Aug. 2, 1952. She passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, with her family by her side. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and her special Auntie Mary. She also enjoyed sewing, painting, embroidering, fishing and dancing. Her special demeanor will be greatly missed by those who had the opportunity to be a part of her life, as she always joked with all who came her way. She was a warmhearted, sincere and loving person. Her personality was outgoing, outstanding and unforgettable. Her laugh and sense of humor alone made it worthwhile just to know her. Ms. Murillo leaves behind her mother, Clorinda J. Garcia of Silver City; two sisters, Viola and husband, Anthony Acosta, of Las Cruces, and Elizabeth and husband, Mike Lopez, of Silver City; two sons, Manuel Trevizo and wife, Joyce, of Las Cruces, and Lawrence Trevizo and fiancée, April Altamirano; and one daughter, Veronica Trevizo, and companion, Jorge Villegas. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Brittany, Lysandra, Alyssa, Raelynn, Jorge Jr., Kiassa, Nikki and Isidro; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ramon M. Garcia, in 1985. Memorial services will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 22, at Baca's Funeral Chapels, with viewing from 4-6 p.m. and rosary following thereafter. Mass will be celebrated at the Santa Clara Parish on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m., with burial following at the Santa Clara Cemetery. Pallbearers are Manny Trevizo, Lawrence Trevizo, Anthony, Bubba, Acosta, Jorge Villegas, Patrick, Mikey, Cohn, Eric Cohn, Allan Duran, Gabe Quintana and Adam Altamirano. Honorary pallbearers are everyone who had the opportunity to call her "Mom". To send condolences, log in to www.bacasfuneralchapels.com.
