Lopez, 68, of Las Cruces entered eternal life Monday, October 4, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 21, 1942 in Las Cruces. Mrs. Lopez worked with Matt's Pawn Shop as an officer manager and was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include her loving husband, Francisco "Kiko" Lopez of the family home; a daughter, Marie "Mona" R. Peña, three sons, Lorenzo Estevan Montiel, Armando Escarsiga and Juan Jaime all of Las Cruces; her siblings, Isabel Bernal, Mary Tellez (Ernesto), Servando Jaime, Polly Garcia, Rudy Jaime, Peter Jaime (Vicky), Frances Ruiz (Jesus), Ramon Garcia (Annie) and a sister-in-law, Isabel Jaime. Other survivors include eight grandchildren, Virgie, Pete, Paul, Sarah, Renee, Vanessa, Daniel Ray and Cynthia, as well as sixteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ramona Jaime, a brother, Manuel Jaime and two sisters-in-law, Mary and Julie Jaime. Visitation for Mrs. Jaime will begin at 6 p.m., Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road, where the Prayer Vigil will be held at 7 p.m.. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2010 in St. Genevieve's Catholic Church, 100 S. Espina Street. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. Serving as casket bearers will be her three sons, Lorenzo Estevan, Armando, Jaime and three grandsons, Paul, Pete and Israel.
