Jackson, 82, of Las Cruces entered eternal life October 15, 2010 at La Posada - Mesilla Hospice. He was born December 1, 1927 in Alexandria, Louisiana to Frederick and Virginia Jackson. Mr. Jackson retired as a Supply Sergeant from White Sands Missile Range and was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Dean A. Jackson of Las Cruces and Paul V. Jackson of Albuquerque; two daughters, Kathryn Marie Menzies of Tampa Bay, Florida and Rebecca Trager of Las Cruces. Other survivors include 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Amy Jackson and one son, Frederick Jackson, Jr. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, October 25, 2010 in Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 E. Boutz Road. Inurnments of cremains will take place at a later date.
