She shared 61 years with the love of her life, J. Floyd Wyckoff who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Wyckoff Hollis of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren, Barbara N. Hollis Huhn (Todd) of Converse, Texas; and grandson, John Wyckoff Hollis of El Paso, Texas; and one great-granddaughter, Elisabeth Anne Huhn; and sister, Julia Shuler Ball of Baldwinsville, New York. During her nearly 101 years she shared her gift of music with everyone she met singing as a soprano soloist, playing the piano or organ and felt it was her job to see that there was music for any occasion. No flowers, please because she would want any donations made to the Margaret Shuler Wyckoff scholarship fund at S.U.N.Y. at Fredonia for music education. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at St. James Episcopal Church.
