Bertha was born April 24, 1958 in Las Cruces, NM to Samuel and Esperanza Terrazas. She was employed as a Financial Coordinator with the State of New Mexico. Bertha was a member of the Catholic Church and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her parents, Samuel and Esperanza Terrazas of Las Cruces; one brother, Samuel Terrazas, Jr. of Las Cruces; three sisters, Rose Mary Terrazas of North Carolina; Alice Dominguez of California and Genevieve Meraz of Las Cruces. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 20, 2010 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church, 100 S. Espina, with the funeral liturgy to follow. The rite of committal and burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Juan Moreno. Arrangements by Getz Funeral Home 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Las Cruces, NM.
