McQuarrie went home to be with the Lord September 24, 2010. She was 92 years old and was survived by her husband Louis. She is also survived by a daughter Emily Isaac of Las Vegas, NV; Virginia LaMarque of Nampa, ID; Son Carlos Paez of Santa Barbara, CA; Son Michael McQuarrie of Las Cruces, NM; Daughter Colleen Dalton of Nipomo, CA. Grandson Zachary McQuarrie, she raised as her own son. Virginia was also survived by a sister Emily Hopton and brother Emil Paez both of Long Beach, CA, sister Juliette Paskowitz of San Onofre, CA and twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Scripture Baptist Church, with Pastor David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in Ft. Bliss, Texas at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Getz Funeral Home, corner of Solano and Bowman Ave. Las Cruces, NM 88001.
