Wood, 84, of Las Cruces, NM passed away on September 10, 2010. She was born to Roberto and Concepcion Bueno on October 05, 1925. She was married to Ernest wood for 64 loving years and had two children; son Ernest B. Wood and wife Susan of Organ, NM and daughter Deborah L. Wood of the family home. Manuela was a devoted wife and mother. She loved cooking, dancing and arts and crafts. Other survivors include eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Andres and Robert Bueno and sisters Ramona Morelos and Esther Lucero. Serving as Casket bearers will be Dwayne Wood, David Wood, Christopher E. Wood, Raymond Bueno Jr., Enrique Bueno Jr., and Alfred Bueno. Funeral mass for Manuela will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church 5035 Holsome Road to begin at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are with La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home.
