Clark to take him home, after he passed away from a broken heart. The most precious of these angels held out her hand, and said "daddy come with me". He accepted her hand, and left his earthly dwelling to join his precious angel, Serina in heaven. Robert H. Clark, 59, "Bobby" as he was fondly known, was born on February 02, 1951 to Willie and Manuela Hernandez Clark, in Las Cruces. He was the second of twelve children, and strived to be the very best brother he could be, and he was a good son who loved and respected his parents. Bobby graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1970, and went straight to work in the construction industry. Although he was a jack-of-all-trades, he mastered in masonry, and was by far a very good carpenter as well. He married Betty Rubio, the love of his life in January 22, 1977, and together they created two beautiful children. Serina Terese Clark being the first born, arrived on his 31st birthday. He always said she was the best birthday present he received. Three years later Bobbie Julene Clark was born. They had been expecting a boy, but it was okay, Bobby vowed to teach his "guerita" all that he would teach a son. He kept his promise, Bobbie could be seen as early as the age of nine, working alongside her daddy, building shrines, and brick mailbox stands, and underneath the hoods of cars he worked on. While Bobbie was his little "tomboy", Serina was his little lady who always made him, his favorite treat; rice pudding. Although the marriage ended in divorce, Bobby and Betty were amicable towards each other, for the sake of their girls, and then for their grandchildren. Bobby sure enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, watching movies, treasure hunts, and teaching them to build things. Bobby is survived by his daughter Bobbie Julene Clark, who is expecting twins babies, any day now; his three grandsons, James, Joseph and Jacob Clark. By his brothers and sisters, Willie Clark; Eva and her husband Orlando Lopez of San Ysidro; Eddie Clark and wife Viola of Dona Ana; David Clark; Charlie Clark and his wife Suki; Lucy and her husband Julian Barraza; Mary and her husband Sammy Sarabia; Nancy Hernandez; Johnny Clark and his wife Vicky; Viola and her husband Robert Rueda of El Paso, TX., Dahlia Clark and Edward Clark. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Tony and Maria Hernandez, of Delano, CA; Sammy and Nena Gomez of Alamogordo, NM; Rudy and Ramona Bustamante, Salvador and Nellie Hernandez and Gloria Reyna all of Las Cruces. And also by his mother-in-law, Teresa B. Rubio, and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Sal Rubio of Killeen,TX; Elia Gonzalez and companion Sal Anaya of Las Vegas, NV; Narda Anderson of Killeen, TX; Leonel and Lisa Rubio of Molene, IL; ! Tina and husband Albert Casares ; Manuel and Christina Rubio; Marie and husband Ralph Hermosillo; Marta and her husband Tim Gutierrez; Lorenzo Rubio and companion Jennifer Johannsmeir ; Martin and Brenda Rubio ; Santiago and Cynthia Rubio; and Johnny and Maria Rubio all of Las Cruces. Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter, Serina Terese Clark, August 27, 2010; his parents, Willie and Manuela Clark and a sister Nellie Clark. A memorial mass for Mr. Clark will take place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, with Father Sean officiating on Tuesday September 21, 2010 at 10 a.m. His cremains will be taken to Masonic Cemetery.
