He was born September 23, 1960 in Canutillo, Texas to Antonio N. and Rachel Triste Aragon. A U.S. Army veteran, he served in the Persian Gulf War with the 108th Airborne Division as well as in the National Guard. Michael was a skilled artisan that loved to draw and paint and loved to play guitar. He was amazingly talented in carpentry and loved to build furniture. His smile and laughter are unforgettable and his presence here on earth will echo through his children and grandchildren. Michael was very well known throughout the community of La Mesa, where he was always ready and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved his entire family very much and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Aragon and is survived by his mother, Rachel Triste Aragon of the family home; daughters, Jazmine Mychal and husband Salomon, Yuriah-Rain, and Jovi Bond; son, Ezra Neil Aragon; grandson, Gustavo and granddaughter, Lilliana Avory; brothers, Dean, Tony and wife Ofelia; sisters, Beatrice and husband Ricardo, Julie and husband Mark, Norma and husband John; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, who also loved him dearly. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, September 02, 2010 in Baca's Funeral Home, 300 E. Boutz Road. The family would like to thank the staff at Memorial Medical Center and our friends who offered their support during this difficult and trying time.
