He was born August 04, 1944 in Doña Ana to Andres and Pascuala Morales Villegas. Mr. Villegas retired from the City of Las Cruces as a waste water technician and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Rita Manzanares Villegas of the family home; a son, Joe Henry (Boy) Villegas; three daughters, Laura Carrasco (Paul Garcia), Barbara and Amanda Villegas; four sisters, Juana Costales and husband Benny, Connie Chavez and husband Pete, Lydia Holguin and husband Jerry; a brother, Marcos Villegas. Other survivors include seven grandchildren, Vanessa Perez, Will Smith, Tynia and Teal'c Carrasco, Jacob and Joshua Mancha and Destiny Jo Villegas; three great grandchildren, Jestine, Eddie III and Evan Garcia as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andres S. and Pascuala Morales Villegas; his siblings, Felix Villegas, Samuel Villegas, and Andrea "Nena" Rodriguez. At Mr. Villegas' request cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held Friday, August 06, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1515 Mulberry Street with Pastor Saul Gonzales officiating.
