Cash. She was born to Alice C. Johnson and Willie L. Johnson on August 20, 1948 in Las Cruces, NM. Later in life she met and married Alvis Eugene Cash and they spent 37 wonderful years together. Joann enjoyed spending time with her cat (key-d) and watching the novelas, but most importantly she enjoyed cook outs and spending time with her family. Joann is survived by a daughter, Arcenia (Archie) Johnson and companion Victoria (Vicki) Perez, two sons, Shawn and wife Marni Cash, Shane and wife, Eboni Cash. As well as her grandson, Cameron E. Rocha, age 11 and two step-grandchildren, Katelin and Brenden Willey ages 5 and 3. Other survivors include three sisters, Betty and husband Arturo Diaz, Jr., Merlinda Faudoa, Nora Johnson and friend Cheryl Chavez, her brother in law, Pat and wife Lisa Cash, all of Las Cruces, NM. Her sister in law, Joyce and husband Wayne Negley of Ruidoso, NM another brother in law Jerry and wife Janie Cash. Joann will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her brothers, Freddy Clark and Jerry Johnson, sister Aleen Najera and nephew David Wesley Cash. A viewing for Joann will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 with services to begin at 10 a.m. at The Latter Day Saints Church, 2915 E. Idaho Avenue, with Bishop John E. Call officiating. Followed by the dedication of burial at San Albino Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. Pallbearers will be Shawn Cash, Shane Cash, Francisco (Paco) Durant, Jose (Joe) Faudoa, Anthony Montenegro and Stephen Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cameron E. Rocha, Juan Carlos Faudoa, Martin Nabor and the rest of her nieces and nephews. Service arrangements have been entrusted to La Paz - Graham's Funeral Home, 555 W.Amador, 526-6891.
