He was born August 16, 1960 in San Francisco, CA. Jaime was a long time resident of Las Cruces, NM prior to returning to California. Jaime was a beloved brother who was kind, compassionate and loyal to family and friends. He delighted in art, and at an early age showed talent for drawing. Upon graduating from New Mexico State University he went to live in San Francisco where he worked at Levi's for many years. He completed a degree in fashion design and Chanel was his favorite designer. He also was passionate about music and dance and he was a cat lover without equal. His joyful laughter and playful personality will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include two brothers, Gerardo Morgan and his wife, Gina of Colleyville, Texas, and Lawrence Morgan also of San Francisco, California; a niece, Siena Araceli Morgan, and nephew, Santiago Morgan both from Colleyville, TX. Other survivors include numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and three god-daughters; Cecilia, Andrea and Mariana. He was preceded in death by his mother, Magdalena Morgan and his father, Lazaro Morgan. He also leaves behind a family of friends in San Francisco who knew and loved him. The funeral liturgy and rite of committal will be held in Las Cruces on Monday, August 16 at twelve noon at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral, 1240 S. Espina St. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho. In lieu of Flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the MEVATEC Foundation, 5707 Bent Tree Ct., Colleyville, Texas 76034. All proceeds will be directed to Diabetes and Epilepsy Research Organizations.
