Hicks, 85, of Las Cruces died on Tuesday at his home. Survivors include his sons, Michael C. Hicks of Olmstead, Ohio and Daniel C. Hicks of Las Cruces; daughters, Theresa L. Hicks of Albuquerque, Mary C. Westermann of Kents Store, Virginia, Lisa A. Wooten of Las Cruces and Patricia E. Knight of Springerville, Arizona; nineteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday at 6 p.m. in Baca's Chapel of Prayer where the prayer vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. Services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in St. Genevieve's Catholic Church.
