She was born July 25, 1958 in Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico to Eleuterio Bustillos and Carmen Guerrero. Carmen was a childcare provider, and for eight years also worked at Los Compas Restaurant. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include her son, Jose Bustillos and companion Miranda Bass; two daughters, Laura Bustillos and companion Rogelio Rubio, and Jacqueline Bustillos and companion Mark Padilla all of Las Cruces; her father, Eleuterio Bustillos of Camargo, Mexico; three brothers, Guadalupe, Vicente and Isidoro Bustillos all of Mexico; four sisters, Luz Elena Montoya and husband, Felix of Tortugas, Lourdes Bustillos of Las Cruces, Estefana Guerrero and Consuelo Bustillos both of Carmargo, Mexico. Other survivors include three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, a son, Jesse Bustillos, grandson, Antonio Rubio and a brother, Ramon Guerrero. Visitation for Carmen will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, August 05, 2010 in the Prayer Chapel of Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 E. Boutz Road, where the prayer vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 06, 2010 in the same chapel. The rite of committal and interment will follow in Masonic Cemetery, 760 S. Compress Road where she will lay to rest. Serving as casket bearers will be Jose Bustillos, Guadalupe Bustillos, Rogelio Rubio, Daniel Bustillos, Selene Quezada and Carlos Olivas. The Bustillos Family would like to thank Dr. Rauth and staff, the third floor nurses at Memorial Medical Center and the nursing staff at La Posada-MVH.
