She was an artist and had exhibited her work in El Paso and Roswell as well as other cities around the Southwest. Some of her paintings are in Collections in Idaho, Montana, California, Texas, New Mexico and Washington, D.C. She had lived in Las Cruces since 1974, when she moved here from Roswell, and she was a member of University Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 today at Getz Funeral Home. Graveside services Tuesday at Masonic Cemetery with John Justin officiating. She is survived by her husband, George; two sons, Scott of Las Cruces, and Alan of El Paso; a daughter, Sandra Haya of Alamogordo; a brother, Ton Hoover of Roswell; a sister, Nita Wilson of Roswell; and Three grandchildren.
