A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2415 Pinos Altos Rd., Silver City, NM on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Interment will follow at Sanchez Cemetery in Sanchez, AZ (near Safford). She was born on February 23, 1938 in Sanchez, AZ at her family's ranch to Rosa and Moses Sanchez. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Ray Escobedo of Bayard; Daughters, Jackie (Lorenzo) Orosco, Kim (Armando Jr.) Fletcher, Candy (Johnnie) Sanchez and Starla (Donald) Rodriguez; eight grandchildren, Eddie Joe and Aaron Orosco, Armando( Mundy) III and Shane Fletcher, Jason and Codie Sanchez, and Jordan and Jaden Rodriguez; and great-grandchildren, Armando IV (Mundy), Josiah, Jayelyn and Mia; four Brothers, Richard, Seferino, Raymond and Arnold; five sisters, Flora, Fidela, Erlinda, Beatrice, and Natalia. She was a homemaker and enjoyed singing, watching her novelas, reading the Bible, and being with friends and family. Her love for her God Jehovah was evident until her last day. She is preceded in death by her parents. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren and Seferino Jr. (Sonny Boy). "Mom always felt grateful that she was blessed with such a great family with dad. They both enjoyed their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom used the opportunity to positively affect those many lives in so many ways. Mary was an excellent mother, sister, friend, companion, provider, grandmother, and teacher. Having been born in Sanchez, AZ, our mother experienced a happy fun loving childhood. We will miss her sense of humor and gentle spirit."
