Juanita who was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico died peacefully in her home Sunday. She is survived by; her son Miguel(Mickey) Montoya and his wife Norma (Las Cruces), her daughters Basilia (Bessie) Estrada and her husband Ricardo(Mesilla), Consuelo (Chelo) Valles, Virginia (Virgie) Marquez and Jennie Barela, Sylvia Lopez (all of Las Cruces), 22 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, 67 great-great grandchildren and 2 great great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Conrado and Juana Apodaca, spouse Miguel Montoya, two sons Reymundo Barbachado and Vincent Montoya, her grandson Robert Estrada and great grandson Michael Estrada. Visitation for Juanita will begin on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 6:00pm at La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home 555 W. Amador with a prayer vigil to begin at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 1240 S. Espina to begin at 10am with burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald Valles, Vicente Montoya Jr., Peter Montoya, Mark Montoya, Richard Estrada, and David C. Barela.
