She was born November 19, 1928 in Chamberino to Concepcion and Natalia Arevalo Diaz. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include her sons and daughters, Jose A. Marquez and wife, Patsy, Dolores Marquez and companion, Adam Apodaca, Jaime Marquez and companion, Anna, Jerry Marquez and companion, Patricia Garcia and Patrick Marquez and companion, Soledad; one brother, Manuel Diaz of Doña Ana. Other survivors include fifteen grandchildren, Paul Marquez, Patrick Marquez, Adrienne Abbs, Terry Jo Esparza, Frankie Marquez, Natasha Marquez, Karina Holguin, Jerry Marquez, Jr., Lori Morales, Hector Sarellano, Jr., Omar Sarellano, Diego Marquez, Delilah Marquez, Max Madrid and Colleen Marquez, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rodolfo Marquez; two sons, Rodolfo Marquez, Jr., and Ricardo Marquez and a grandson, Geno Marquez. Visitation for Mrs. Marquez will begin at 6 PM, Friday, November 12, 2010 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road, where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled to begin at 7 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, November 13, 2010 in San Luis Rey Catholic Church in Chamberino with the Reverend Robert Villegas, C.S.C. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Chambeirno Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. Serving as casket bearers will be Paul Marquez, Patrick Marquez, Max Madrid, Jerry Marquez, Jr., Hector Sarellano, Jr., and Mike Esparza. Honorary bearers will be Lori Morales, Natasha Marquez and Jerry Abbs.
